From Seasonal The Loft to Sultry Cuban Supper Club

Loft at Lena’s second-story venue, introduced in 2020, has transformed through five seasonal themes into Havana 151, a sultry, elegant supper club radiating Latin and Cuban spirit. Guests are enveloped by decadent 1940s Old Havana hotel–inspired décor: lush velvet seating, cigar-scented air, sparkling chandeliers, and stained glass windows. Every element, refreshed in under five days by designers Katie Kirby and Erin Cermak, reveals pure magic. Impeccable service seals the immersive journey.

Opulent Textures and Vintage Havana Ambiance

Opulent Textures and Vintage Havana Ambiance
Inside Havana 151, design elements merge to evoke genuine Cuban opulence. Distressed terra cotta tile floors give way to lush tropical plants that frame intimate seating clusters. Wrought iron railings intertwine with leather-textured walls, while glimmering crystal chandeliers cast golden hues across the room. Floor-to-ceiling stained glass panels diffuse multicolored light, and handcrafted accents create a tapestry of elegance and intrigue that delights every eye. Vintage Havana touches.

Signature Entrées with Cuban Soul

Birria Tacos feature tender, slow-braised beef short ribs nestled in warm corn tortillas and topped with cilantro, onion, and a side of rich consommé. Each entrée captures authentic Cuban cooking techniques and bold spices, delivering a memorable main course. Accompanied by lime wedges and crema.

Sides and sweets at Havana 151 bring texture and indulgence to every meal. Golden fried sweet plantains balance savory mains with natural caramel notes, while crisp fried yucca offers hearty crunch. Mexican street corn features cotija cheese, chili powder, and lime for a spirited twist. For dessert, guests relish slices of Coconut Rum Cake with toasted coconut shavings and a selection of Dow’s 10 Year Port to sip slowly, ensuring a satisfying finish that lingers. Smooth pacing.

The bar at Havana 151 crafts show-stopping cocktails that capture Cuba’s vibrant spirit. The signature Havana 151 Punch Bowl, made with over-proof rum and fresh juices, is served in an ornate presentation for two. Smoked El Presidente arrives tableside, blending Ron Zacapa 23 Year, Lillet Blanc, Grand Marnier, and house-made grenadine under a dramatic smoke dome. A classic Cuba Libre features Havana Club rum, Cointreau, and glass-bottled Mexican Coca-Cola for a familiar yet refined finish.

Rapid Theme Swaps

Rapid Theme Swaps
Between each seasonal concept, Havana 151’s team completes a full transformation in under five days. Walls are stripped, surfaces repainted, and furnishings swapped to deliver fresh identity. This fifth concept follows Winter Lodge, Full Bloom, Oceans 21, and Velvet & Rye. Beyond The Loft, Lena’s also features a rustic Tap Room with tavern-style bar and dining room, plus a dog-friendly Beer Garden under market lights and heaters for year-round outdoor enjoyment. Live music enhances every visit.

From COVID to Creative Concepts

Lena’s created The Oasis during COVID—an outdoor escape when it was needed most. Soon after came The Loft at Lena’s, featuring themed dining spaces with CDC-approved ventilation and safe distancing. Thanks to guest support, we continue to bring new, immersive themes to Alexandria.
